Holiday on the adventure farm Wachter in Fiss
Life on a farm sounds romantic, but it also involves a lot of hard work and is a labour of love. The animals need to be kept clean and fed. Children, accompanied by their parents, are welcome to help out in the Wachter Hof stables with chores such as mucking out or feeding the animals – this is a great experience for children of all ages.
Natural
Fiss, our home, lies at an altitude of 1,436 m and nestles among lovely meadows and alpine pastures. Our four hectares of meadows extend up to 1,700 m and are mown during the summer months and harvested as fodder for the winter season. The different grasses and herbs enrich the diet of our sturdy Tyrolean Grey cattle and horses, making them healthy and strong.
Animals
"Our little farm", consists of 2 cows and calves, 2 horses, 1 pony, our little pig as well as petting animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and our cat "Mauntz". You are welcome to look over the shoulder of farmer Thomas or to lend a hand with the stable work.

Historic
Our farmhouse has existed since 1674!
-until 120 years ago it was a divided farmhouse, inhabited by 3 families who were not related to each other, they shared the house and the yard, (2 kitchens, 3 parlors, 3 stables) - a difficult time.
